Road trip through Germany with the camper

From the Eifel via the Saar-Hünsruck, the Black Forest and Lake Constance to the Alps. From the Alps via Rothenburg ob der Tauber back to the Eifel.

We first drove to Bad Münstereifel where I rode MTB routes for 3 days. Then we drove to Saar-Hünsruck to walk the longest suspension bridge. Then we drove to the Black Forest where we cycled the 3 lakes route from Schluchtsee. We hiked the Rötenbachschlucht and the Wutachschlucht and drove on to Lake Constance. There it was time for another bike ride. On the Deutsche Alpenstrasse we reached Tannheim just across the border in Austria. The suspension bridge was also on the program in Reutte. Both suspension bridges claimed to be the longest. We have not measured them. In Tannheim a beautiful mountain hike was on the program, also a 3 lakes tour. The last day in Tannheim was again for the MTB to ride the valley round.
We drove back into Germany to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In addition to the ski jump, we also wanted to visit the Partnachklamm. Unfortunately, it was closed in the even so dry year due to high water. On the Kaiserschmarnnalm we could also eat very tasty Kaiserschmarrn. That and the views on the route were well worth the trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Back to the north we stopped in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a town with authentic city walls, very atmospheric.
Our route ended at the beautiful Höhlen und Schluchtsteig Kell in Kell in the Eifel.
